It's mid-September and in Milan, on the eve of Fashion Week, the city's frenetic routine is back in full swing. The days are starting to turn greyer, temperatures are finally dropping, and that familiar end-of-summer nostalgia is right on cue. To Eat - Sorelle Poma
Sorelle Poma, in Lambrate, is the project of Caterina and Vladimiro Poma, Ligurian siblings with a long history in Milan's restaurant scene. The venue has two souls: the Osteria, informal and walk-in only, where the menu features Ligurian classics with a few detours toward Lombardy. Then there's the Trattoria, recently opened and by reservation only, offering two set menus — one journeying between the sea and mountains of Liguria, and one entirely plant-based, vegan and gluten-free.

To Chill - BarTolomeo
Bar Tolomeo, on Via Eustachi, is a place designed to accompany you throughout the entire day, from breakfast to evening aperitivo. Its distinctive feature is its camping-inspired aesthetic: deckchairs, small tables and casual furnishings on the outdoor terrace perfectly capture the feel of a spot where you can slow down. The menu includes café offerings with Eastern-inspired specialities, brunch dishes and croffle in both sweet and savoury versions, while in the evening a selection of small sharing plates takes centre stage.

To Shop - Remira Market
On Sunday 20 September, Remira Market returns to Milan with a new stop at Santeria Toscana 31. The travelling market brings together vendors and creatives offering vintage and second-hand clothing, accessories, handmade pieces, art and independent productions. From 10:30 to 20:00, with free entry upon registration on Eventbrite, the market will also be accompanied by brunch and music: a Sunday for giving clothes and objects a new lease of life, passing on what someone else no longer uses.

To Discover - "Blues Rouge" by Nuria Maria
We live in a time when we photograph and archive almost everything, yet when we remember something, it rarely comes back to us as a precise image. What tends to linger in our memory is a detail or a feeling — and that is the starting point for Blues Rouge, the new exhibition by Nuria Maria at Cadogan Gallery. The Dutch artist presents fourteen works, almost all oil on linen, in which the aim is not so much to faithfully reconstruct a place as to hold onto what remains of it — whether that's the contrast between warmth and shade, or between noise and quiet. Blues Rouge is on view until 17 October, with free admission.

To Party - XL (XX+XX=XL) @ Circolo Magnolia
Twenty plus twenty makes XL. On Saturday 19 September, Circolo Magnolia hosts a double birthday celebration: Propaganda turns twenty, and MI AMI wrapped up its twentieth edition back in May. Add the two milestones together and you get XX+XX=XL, a twelve-hour marathon across three stages with forty acts. The packed line-up includes TY1, the legendary crew Metempsicosi and Uzi Ivke, among others. Early bird tickets are already sold out; regular tickets are available on Dice.
