"Dalla Gioconda" is the place to say goodbye to summer Between the new cocktail bar and Jacopo Di Cera's art, the season of the Gabicce Monte retreat ends on August 29th

The summer 2026 season of Dalla Gioconda, the albergo diffuso with a Michelin-starred restaurant in Gabicce Monte, is drawing to a close after expanding its offering with major new developments spanning gastronomy, mixology, art and hospitality. The most visible transformation concerns La Limonaia, the terrace located above the restaurant, which this year has become a cocktail bar.

Here the idea is to reinterpret the local gastronomic identity through dishes designed for sharing and small tastings, under the direction of chef Davide Di Fabio. The menu features reinterpretations of great classics, such as the crescia sfogliata or the lobster roll, alongside filled piadine with the catch of the day, crudo, or produce from the garden.

The drinks list, meanwhile, was born from the collaboration with Cotton Club in Modena, a venue specialising in research-driven mixology that developed a selection built on technical, less conventional preparations, alongside the choices of sommelier Nicholas Bratti. Three evenings have marked the terrace's summer: the Opening Party on 26 and 27 June, coinciding with the Disco Diva Festival, the Summer Party on 25 July and, on Saturday 29 August, the Closing Party that will bid farewell to the season.

Another new element of the season was the involvement of Jacopo di Cera, a visual artist represented by Deodato Arte and working across photography, material art and digital languages. Di Cera created the new graphic design of the restaurant menu, printed on holographic vinyl and dedicated to the sea. His are also the works in the exhibition hosted in the entrance gallery, built around the beach and its constant movements.

The new developments also concern the way of experiencing the area. Guests can use a small gozzo boat to enjoy an aperitivo at sea during sunset, or travel by land in an electric Mini Moke, available both for exploring the surroundings and for reaching Bagni Maristella, the resort's beach.

Dalla Gioconda was born in the summer of 2021 from the restoration of a historic 1950s dancing pizzeria. Behind the project are Allegra Tirotti Romanoff, Stefano Bizzarri and Davide Di Fabio, a chef who, before arriving in Gabicce Monte, worked for several years in the brigade of Osteria Francescana. In 2022 the Michelin Guide awarded the restaurant both the red star and the green star, also recognising it as the first restaurant in Italy declared completely plastic free.

Since 2023 the hospitality offering has expanded with Hidden, an albergo diffuso created through the restoration of several spaces in the village of Gabicce Monte. Today the offering also includes the Dream Eden, Turquoise and Amber suites, as well as an infinity pool overlooking the sea and a new area dedicated to breakfast.

Attention to sustainability continues to be one of the central pillars of the project. Dalla Gioconda has obtained Leed Gold certification and uses photovoltaic panels, a geothermal system and rainwater recovery systems. Completing the offering is the cellar coordinated by Nicholas Bratti, which holds over 1,600 labels and has been awarded Wine Spectator's Best Award of Excellence.

The final event of the summer will be the Closing Party scheduled for 29 August.
