(Adda Passà) 'A Nuttata: Paolo Sorrentino's cinema comes to Kimbo's Neapolitan Courtyard The first edition of Cortile Napoletano brought an evening dedicated to Neapolitan cinema to Combo Milano together with ArteSettima

The first event of Cortile Napoletano, the project by nss edicola and Kimbo® that from October 16 to 18 transformed Combo Milano into a glimpse of the Neapolitan city, was dedicated to cinema. On Friday evening, the courtyard hosted (Adda passà) a nuttata, a film club organized together with ArteSettima to explore the relationship between Naples and the silver screen, through one of the films that in recent years has contributed most to portraying its contemporary identity.

At the heart of the evening was the screening of The Hand of God by Paolo Sorrentino, an autobiographical story in which the city becomes an integral part of the protagonist Fabietto Schisa's coming of age. Between football, family dynamics and the desire to make films, the movie portrays a Naples made of contradictions, irony and moments of deep intimacy. A portrayal that provided the starting point for a conversation led by ArteSettima, dedicated to the director's cinematic language and the role that everyday rituals play in his storytelling. Accompanying the evening, naturally, was Kimbo® coffee, the common thread running through the entire project. Just like in the famous scene of the encounter between Fabietto and Antonio Capuano, at Combo too the coffee became a pretext to pause, exchange ideas and keep talking about cinema even after the closing credits.
