And as if by magic, autumn has arrived. If at the beginning of the week everyone was still complaining about the somewhat sticky heat lingering from the summer days, overnight, after a thunderstorm broke out, temperatures dropped by ten degrees, the sky filled with clouds and finally hoodies and long trousers came out of the wardrobe. Of course, on Instagram stories you’re probably still seeing friends in the south, or others luckier still by the sea, while the beautiful world is divided between the Venice Film Festival and the upcoming European fashion weeks, someone has to hold the fort in Milan.
Here, then, are the 5 things to do in Milan this weekend.
To Eat – Giardino Cordusio
Now that Piazza Cordusio is finally free of construction works, the Sunday Brunch at Giardino Cordusio is back with an all-new menu, an even richer gastronomic offering and, of course, a live DJ set. Located in the courtyard of Palazzo Cordusio Gran Meliá, the brunch runs from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm and moves between a sweet and savoury buffet, hot dishes prepared on the spot and a selection of drinks inspired by the great cocktails of the 1980s reinterpreted in a contemporary key, especially the Bloody Marys. On the table, the great brunch classics meet Italian cuisine: from vitello tonnato to tortellini, from Eggs Benedict to pancakes, all the way to Tarte Tropézienne. Until the end of September, the courtyard will also host the Swarovski takeover which has transformed the spaces into a true oasis in the middle of the city.

To Chill – Feet First Fair
The Feet First Fair, also known as FFF026, is a review dedicated to zines and independent publishers that returns to Milan in 2026 after previous editions in London, Milan, Brussels and Ostend. The event will take place from 11 to 15 September in the spaces of Altrove and will bring together artists, illustrators, small publishers and self-produced realities from different countries. Fanzines, artist’s books, limited editions and experimental graphic projects will be presented, all offered as an alternative to the larger, more commercial publishing events.

To Explore – The Gentleman @ Palazzo Morando
We are in the final weeks to see it. The exhibition The Gentleman – Style and jewellery for men tells the most personal and symbolic side of male elegance through clothes, jewellery, accessories and period documents. A journey from the 18th century to the present day that shows how ornamentation has changed alongside society: from an expression of status and belonging to a tool of identity, character and individual freedom. Between historical and contemporary pieces, the exhibition creates a dialogue between fashion and jewellery, exploring the way in which men have constructed their own image over time.

To Shop – Fam Clothing
Fam Clothing is the Millennial evolution of the classic little vintage shop, bringing notable improvements to the model including the general order that reigns in its spaces (you won’t find those bizarre, dusty grandpa clothes here) and a modern and well-thought-out selection. The speciality of the two owners, Davide and Federico, is the classic everyday pieces from Carhartt and Dickies, Patagonia sweatshirts and a nice range of calcetines scarves and hats. What makes the shop unique, however, is that it also works as a venue for events, with concerts, workshops, events and DJ sets. A true third place for the neighbourhood.

To Party – Acquario // Wata Igarashi_J.Somoza @ Masada
Now that the season is back in full force, Milan’s nightlife can return to Masada. This Saturday, Acquario brings to the decks Wata Igarashi, Japanese master of the international electronic scene, together with J. Somoza, for an afternoon that promises to stretch until midnight. Igarashi’s sound is a journey between hypnotic techno, psychedelia and acid influences, built on deep grooves and a meticulous search for BPM. From 3.00 pm to midnight, Acquario will be the perfect way to spend the whole day or the evening. Just remember to bring your membership card.
